Chrome Extension — "No Pieces App Detected"

Why did this happen?
The most likely reason you received the “No Pieces app detected” because there was a loss in connection to Pieces OS.
What is Pieces OS?
Pieces OS is the background service that enables Pieces to work locally and handles communications with any integrations. It’s required to run Pieces and any plugins.
How do I know if I’m connected to Pieces OS Server?
You can find this in the system tray in the upper right side of your screen on Mac, or the lower right side on Windows.
Steps to resolve the issue?
Verify that you’ve installed Pieces OS and Pieces for Developers. If you haven’t, you can install them here.
Verify that you’re connected to Pieces OS. You can do this by clicking the “P” in your system tray.
